Cape Cod Times: About 30 whale disentanglement experts from a dozen countries will be at the Center for Coastal Studies through Thursday for a meeting of the International Whaling Commission Global Whale Entanglement Response Network.

They will discuss the teaching of disentanglement methods, the origins of fishing gear and other materials that cause entanglements and how best to gather and sort data.
