WHOI Opens New Marine Robotics Facility

CapeCodTimes.com: The process of getting marine robotics innovations off the drawing board and on the ocean floor is getting a lot quicker at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

Thursday (July 20, 2017), the ocean science nonprofit laboratory celebrated the opening of DunkWorks, its rapid prototyping facility that allows scientists and engineers the opportunity to collaborate on new technology, create prototypes and test them before they are deployed in a real-world setting.
