These paintings are the result of extensive research and an attempt to depict the lost vessels in happier days of the 1930s, when the boats played prominent roles in harpoon swordfishing in the Block Island fishing fleet. Also to be shown are watercolors paintings of the tragic wrecks of the Texaco Tanker, Lightburn and the Coal Collier, Putzta lost to fog off Block Island in the 1930s.
