Portland Press Herald: A 92-year-old woman who accidentally drove down a Belfast boat ramp and into the harbor is alive thanks to the quick thinking of a couple of Good Samaritans. Police say Eva Lenfest of Searsport drove down the ramp on Thursday at the height of a rainstorm when visibility was limited.

Bryden Burleson, an employee at Belmont Boat Works, and assistant Harbormaster Howard Whitcomb, jumped in a dinghy and pulled the woman from her fast-sinking car, which was about 90’ from shore in 10’ to 12’ of water.
