Would-Be Transatlantic Rowers Return to Shore After 2 Days

Cape Cod Times: A couple from Virginia attempting to be the first American mixed-pair to row west to east across the Atlantic were towed to shore Wednesday, just 2 days after setting out on their voyage.

At around 11:00 a.m., Towboat US, a boat towing and insurance company with a Provincetown office, was notified that James Caple and Cynthia Way needed to be picked up about 25 miles north of Provincetown, Towboat Capt. Noah Santos said.
