Yamaha F25 Outboard

Yamaha’s all-new F25 four-stroke outboard weighs less than 126 pounds, making it the smallest of Yamaha’s midrange outboards. Indeed, the F25 is 25% lighter than its predecessor, and is ideal for 14’ to 16’ aluminum boats and other small craft.

The new engine also has the best power-to-weight ratio of all 25-hp outboards, and features no-battery-required electronic fuel injection and a new 2-cylinder powerhead featuring 2 valves per cylinder and a single overhead cam.

For greater control, the new F25 also features pull start through the cowling, which comes standard on all electric-start models, except for the F25LC. The Variable Trolling Switch (VTS), standard on all F25C tiller-handle models, allows boats to troll slower than standard in-gear idle speed. Improved, built-in handles enhance the engine’s portability, while the updated tiller handle features an ergonomic design and a new shifter position.

The new F25 is now has resting pads on two sides of the engine for more storage options, and the external oil-drain system allows for easy maintenance. An electric starting kit is available as a field upgrade.

$3,875 (tiller handle models)

$4,550 (models w/ electric start, pull-through cowling)
