Borden Flats Lighthouse for Sale

Borden Flats Lighthouse off Fall River, MA, is up for sale—again. Asking price: $1.2 million.

The 143-year-old lighthouse, which sits just below the Braga Bridge in Mount Hope Bay, has been owned since 2018 by Kevin Ferias, who bought the light from its previous owner, Nick Korstad. It has been used as a unique, short-term vacation rental since 2011.

The lighthouse is registered with the National Register of Historic Places and continues to serve as a working aid to navigation for the Coast Guard, which maintains the light system in its lantern room.
