Great White Shark Filmed Eating Seal In Maine

A great white shark was captured on video eating a seal in Boothbay, Maine last week.

Ashley and Shaun McLennan of South Thomaston, Maine were fishing near Boothbay on Wednesday, June 25, when they spotted a dorsal fin sticking out of the water.

They were able to get a good view of the creature as the shark was just feet from their boat as it feasted on the seal.

According to a report in the Bangor Daily News, scientists from the Maine Department of Marine Resources and the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries confirmed it was a great white shark.
