New Owners for Newport Marina

A marina that’s been a staple of Newport, Rhode Island’s waterfront for more than 30 years has new owners.

Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts recently purchased Casey’s Marina at Spring Wharf in Newport. The purchase also includes the adjacent 10,000-square-foot Waites Wharf.

Grand Banks officials said they plan to rename the marina the Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts Marina.

They said the marina will offer reserved berths, haul-out capabilities, a private lounge with boutique guest amenities, and other on-site service capabilities.

Grand Banks plans to reveal details about the upgraded marina at the Newport International Boat Show this September.
