Boat Ramp at Merrymeeting Lake to temporarily close.

A boat ramp on New Hampshire’s Merrymeeting Lake will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, October 15.

According to New Hampshire Fish and Game officials, the Merrymeeting Lake boat ramp in New Durham will be closed beginning the evening of Tuesday, October 14. The facility will reopen on Thursday, October 16.

During the closure, several hazardous trees will be removed from an area immediately adjacent to the ramp.

To ensure an efficient worksite and public safety, the facility’s ramp, parking area, and shore bank will be closed for the entire day on Wednesday, October 16. There will be no opportunity to fish or launch canoes, kayaks, or any other type of watercraft.
