The Abu Garcia’s affordable Max spinning reels have been redesigned, and now include technology normally only found in higher-priced reels.

Utilizing the V-spool and V-rotor design (originally developed for the Abu Garcia Zenon spinning family), combined with the AMG CNC machined-gear system and low-inertia rotor, the Max Elite reels ($100) offers ultra-smooth performance and durability. A new lightweight carbon handle and carbon-infused body significantly reduce weight, ensuring increased comfort during long days on the water. Meanwhile, the Rocket Line management system and Rocket Spool Lip provide superior line control, longer casts, and reduced tangles.
