Behind the Scenes of the New England Boat Show

A moment in time from the boat show.

If you’ve ever been to the New England Boat Show, you know that the Northeast’s largest boat show is known for its huge number of boats of all shapes and sizes — from cruising yachts and sportfishing boats to sailboats and dinghies.

But those endless aisles of beautiful boats, exhibits, and marine accessories don’t just appear with the snap of someone’s fingers or the wave of a magic wand. Setting it up is a massive undertaking that requires intricate planning, coordinating, timing, and several days of actual set up.

A few years ago, we set up a camera to capture how the space evolves from an empty convention hall to a boater’s dreamscape packed with shiny new vessels. You can view the time-lapse video below.
