Video: Boston Harbor Fall Striper Fishing

Once a highly polluted waterbody, Boston Harbor has cleaned up its act in the last quarter century, and now offers some of the best striper and winter flounder fishing on the coast.

The harbor is filled with all sorts of prime striper structure, including rocks, piers, points, channels, ledges and islands, giving anglers ample opportunities to score using a variety of methods.

In Season One of New England Fishing TV, host Tom Richardson fished the harbor in a variety of ways, including trolling tube lures, slow-trolling bunker and live mackerel and even casting soft-plastics on light spin gear. The episode featured here highlights the variety of fishing options available to anglers who fish Boston Harbor on its surrounding waters, as well as some of the big fish available.
