Camden Windjammer Festival This Weekend

The Camden Windjammer Festival kicks off this Friday (Aug. 30) on the Camden Harbor waterfront.

Location of the festival at the Public Landing.

Over the two-day festival, the scenic Maine town will host lots of fun events and, of course, a huge fleet of classic sailing vessels. Festivities continue through Saturday evening (Aug. 31).

• “Schooner crew” talent show
• Live music & dancing
• Fireworks
• Lobster-crate race
• Walking tours
• Road race
• Treasure hunt
• “Chowder challenge”
• Build a tiny boat
