One of the biggest annual events for independent boatbuilders in the Northeast will take place on Cape Cod at the end of January.

The Boatbuilders Show on Cape Cod will take place Friday, January 30 through Sunday, February 1 at the Hyport Conference Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

The annual show was started 19 years ago to showcase boats built by smaller, independent boat builders. It is one of the few boat shows in the country dedicated to providing these builders an opportunity to showcase their work and demonstrate to the boating public the level of quality and personal service that is available.

The show features a large collection of exhibitors and informational seminars. The seminars at this year’s show include topics such as boating safety, onboard electronics, and presentations by several speakers.

Admission is $10 per person, and children 12 and under are free.
