The new ramp looks like it will be able to handle quite a bit.
Early stages of the ramp construction.
Boaters looking to access the Connecticut River via the popular launch ramp at Ashley Park in Claremont, NH, will need to wait a bit longer. Officials with the New Hampshire Department of Fish & Game say that reconstruction of the ramp is roughly half-way completed and expect the ramp to reopen for public use by the end of July. When rebuilt, the ramp will feature a remote ADA-compliant loading/transfer platform.
