Launch Ramp:
Morse Cove (Phippsburg): Two-lane launch with parking and tie-up float.
Back River (Boothbay): All-tide ramp with parking on Hodgdon Island on the Back River.
Anchorages:
There are numerous protected spots to anchor in the Georgetown area, including Hockomock Bay and Robinhood Cove. More havens can be found amid Webber, Castle, and Beal Islands. Charted depths are accurate, and it’s easy enough to drop a hook in quiet, nearly current-free waters. Harmon Harbor, Little Sheepscot River, Knubble Cove, and Back River are additional spots where you can anchor.
