Fishing Boat Missing Off Cape Cod

The Coast Guard is searching for a missing fishing boat off Cape Cod.

According to Coast Guard officials, crews are currently searching for the fishing vessel SEAHORSE, a white 30-foot boat that as of Tuesday afternoon is two days overdue.

The vessel reportedly has a mermaid on the bow and “SEAHORSE” painted on the stern in rough lettering.

The vessel was last known to be fishing in the vicinity of Target Ship Wreck near Eastham in the Cape Cod Bay.

A cell phone ping last placed the vessel two miles off of Chatham.

The captain of the vessel is Shawn Arsenault.
