Boasting a redesigned hull, the Sun Odyssey 350 (which replaces the company’s popular 349) features a distinctive, contemporary silhouette and a bow that stands clear of the waterline to facilitate docking and handling in light winds.
Wide walkaround, nonskid sidedecks with high, sturdy rails make it easy to move fore and aft, and there are no obstacles to interrupt the flow of movement on board. The helmsman also benefits from enhanced comfort and better forward visibility due to off-centered aft helms with stylish twin wheels. A drop transom becomes a spacious swim platform (with ladder), easily accessible from the cockpit.
Below the waterline, the 350 is equipped with twin rudders and comes with a choice of three keels, from shoal to an extra-deep swing version. Auxiliary power is provided by a 29-hp Yanmar diesel engine.
Belowdecks, the 350 features a bright, roomy salon and cabins with standing headroom of over six feet. Wide windows in the hull and coach roof let in plenty of natural light during the day, with indirect lighting providing a warm, inviting atmosphere after dark.
The boat is available in a few different interior configurations, including a pair of aft berths and a vee-berth forward. The head with shower is to port, opposite the compact but well-appointed galley.
