Mustang Survival’s new MIT 100 Convertible life jacket ($170) affords ample movement and allows the wearer to choose between manual or automatic inflation modes. When inflated, the MIT 100 provides 28 pounds of buoyancy and will automatically turn most wearers face up.
Comfort features include adjustable straps and lightweight, breathable materials. Another nifty feature is the PFD’s one-fold design, which makes it easy to repack the air bladder after use. The PFD also features a handy clear-plastic inspection window for safety checks, plus a D-ring for attaching a kill-switch lanyard. Available in grey and red.
