New Boat Launch Approved in Harpswell, Maine

On Tuesday, voters in Harpswell, Maine approved plans to build a new $2 million boat launch.

The all-tide boat launch will be built at George J. Mitchell Field in Harpswell and will be free to everyone, including non-residents.

Mitchell Field currently closes at dusk, but town officials said they will discuss extending access so boaters have more flexibility.
