New England Boat Show Kicks Off Jan. 7

You might have snow and ice outside your window, but it’s actually one of the most exciting times of the year for New England boating.

That’s because it’s time for the New England Boat Show—the Northeast’s largest boat show and the region’s premier winter boating event.

The 2026 New England Boat Show will be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from January 7 to 11.

The event is known for its huge number of boats of all shapes and sizes—from center consoles and family cruisers to pontoons and wake sports boats. Also at the show will be hundreds of exhibits of the latest boating accessories, marine electronics, and other must-have products.

The New England Boat Show also offers great ways to improve your boating and fishing knowledge. Boating seminars and informational clinics will be available for free to attendees, including saltwater fishing workshops, a how-to center with tips, tricks, and DIY advice for boaters, and a 30-foot tank where anglers can learn the art of casting from experts.

When you’re not touring new boats or checking out cool gear and seminars, the show will have a fun boating vibe to enjoy thanks to live music, chef demos and tastings, and beach games at the Discover Boating Beach Club.
