New England Boating and Fishing TV Debuts January 4

You’ll soon be able to enjoy the best of New England Boating and Fishing on your television. The new “New England Boating” and “New England Fishing” television shows will debut alongside “Explore New England” on January 4 as part of the new NBC New England Outdoors Television Series.

The hour-and-a-half block of programming is the kind of television Northeast outdoors enthusiasts could only dream of until now, exploring activities they love, places they can go, and information they can use. The programming block will be broadcast on NBC Boston, NBC Sports Boston, and NECN.

“New England Boating” will explore the region’s most beloved boating destinations. Viewers will be treated to a boater’s-eye view of attractive seaside villages, fun coastal cities, historic sites, scenic waterways, and much more. In each episode, boaters will learn about local attractions, what to do, where to dine, and valuable boating tips such as how to navigate local waters and where to tie up.

“New England Fishing” is sure to be a favorite among Northeast anglers. The show will explore the most exciting fishing adventures in the region, from fly fishing inland waterways to the rush of deep sea fishing for big game off the coast. Viewers will learn about the best fishing destinations in New England, what to fish and when, and other valuable tips.

“Explore New England” will bring a sense of discovery and adventure to NBC. The show will explore the region’s most adventurous and fun destinations, and it will feature activities such as snowmobiling, ATVing, hiking, paddling, mountain biking, and more.

While the NBC New England Outdoors Television Series debuts on NBC Boston at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, it will regularly appear on Sundays at 6:30 p.m.
