The Scout 261 XSS Hybrid
The all-new 261 XSS from Scout is an inshore/offshore crossover, combining luxury amenities with the fishing-friendly layout and features of a serious bay boat. The latter include large casting fore and rear decks; port and starboard aerated bait wells; ample rod storage; and a console coffin box for fish or gear storage.
Other standard features include a fiberglass hardtop with integrated acrylic windshields; Fusion Bluetooth stereo with six JL Audio speakers; a pocket transom ladder, and a built-in synthetic decking step.
Notable options include an aerated live well/leaning post module equipped with two helm seats, a trash can, tackle storage, a bottle opener, rod holders, and a Corian countertop. The 261 XSS is also available with underwater lighting, hardtop-mounted rocket launchers, raw and fresh water washdown, outriggers, a Power-Pole, a trolling motor, and a portable toilet.
Scout’s new patent-pending Sport Tower station is yet another noteworthy option. The Sport Tower features full controls and places the driver aft of the helm passengers to improve visibility.
