Boaters who travel up or down the Penobscot River can find a welcoming spot for lunch or dinner at the unique Sea Dog Brewing Company brewpub, which features a long floating dock directly in front of the restaurant.

The upper level of the building is a fun, laidback restaurant, while the lower level houses a bona fide microbrewery that turns out tasty ales, which can be sampled onsite at the upstairs bar or in the tasting room.

In warm weather, you can grab an outdoor table overlooking the Penobscot River, or take a seat at the large central bar. The menu is also large and varied, and includes seafood, steak, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, chowder, salads, and a huge variety of appetizers. Entrée prices range from $16 to $27.
