Shimano recently unveiled the new Tranx 300 B, a redesigned low-profile baitcasting reel sure to excite inshore and saltwater bass anglers.
Designed to be a fishing workhorse in both freshwater and saltwater, the durable, innovative Tranx 300 B features Shimano’s CoreSolid and HAGANE Body technologies, which integrate the B-side plate, level guard, and reel frame into a single, ultra-rigid aluminum piece. This seamless construction ensures an incredibly flex-free platform, allowing for exceptional rigidity and sensitivity that directly translates angler action into cranking power.
The Tranx 300 B is equipped with Shimano’s SVS Infinity MD Tune braking system, offering easy, on-the-fly adjustments through an external dial. Whether casting heavy or light lures, this system allows anglers to fine-tune brake settings for maximum control and accuracy.
Built to leverage large fish, the Tranx 300 B incorporates X-Ship technology, significantly reducing friction between the spool shaft and gear. This innovation dramatically enhances gear durability, ensuring the reel is ready for any challenge.
