Simrad has introduced the world’s first fully-featured ultrawide marine display, giving boaters the benefits of dual screens on a single display. The NSX Ultrawide is up to 63% wider than the standard NSX display, providing a more streamlined, aesthetically pleasing, and immersive experience.

Available in 12-inch ($2,749) and 15-inch ($3,399) screen sizes, the NSX Ultrawide is a versatile solution for a variety of small- to midsized vessels, including surf/wake boats, pontoons, cruisers, and center consoles. The display lets boaters simplify their helm thanks to the Ultrawide’s revolutionary aspect ratio, which provides better functionality with optimized full-page applications and application splits, as well as seamless, uninterrupted data flow.

Boaters can also use the Ultrawide to combine multiple displays that best fit their needs. The bundled C-MAP Discover X charts for North America and Canada are optimized specifically for NSX, and the Ultrawide’s display’s high pixel density shows enhanced sharp resolution for improved detail. Anglers can add even more detail by upgrading to Reveal X, which allows for shaded relief and satellite imagery.

The X-Gen charts also unlock new features such as the new C-MAP Safety Alerts, which automatically alert users to hazards ranging from shallow water to buoys. Additionally, the C-MAP X-Chart Manager lets users manage C-MAP chart updates and upgrades directly from their device, with the ability to choose custom areas for a near-instant download. The NSX Ultrawide is also compatible with select third-party chart options, such as CMOR Mapping, Florida Marine Tracks, StrikeLines, Standard Mapping, and more.
