Some of the world’s most impressive tall ships and military ships will visit Boston Harbor this July to help celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
As part of the Sail250 celebration, ships from around the world will visit Boston from July 11 through July 16, 2026.
The last tall ship event in Boston was 2017.
Boston was chosen among a select group of ports included in the Sail250 celebration, including New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore, and New York City. But Boston will be an ideal port to view the ships. Tall Ships America named Boston its Port of the Year in both 2009 and 2017.
The extensive list of ships slated to attend the event is impressive, and includes barques, schooners, galleons, and barquentines.
