Frye's Leap General Store & Cafe, Sebago Lake, Maine

We visited Frye’s Leap General Store & Café while filming the Sebago Lake episode of New England Boating TV, and can see why it’s an institution among local boaters. Dockage is available along the floats next to the ferry landing, space permitting (try to arrive after 1:00 p.m. to avoid the lunch crowd).
The café has outdoor seating and serves a wide variety of tasty lunch and dinner items, including fried clams, build-your-own burgers and creative wraps, but we highly recommend the lobster club sandwich, homemade pizza and lobster mac-and-cheese. The fries and desserts are outstanding as well, and on weekends the café serves a special breakfast buffet. Frye’s Leap also features a small bar stocked with an outstanding selection of micro-brews, and serves mixed drinks.
The lobster club is wonderful.
