SEA RAY’S INNOVATIVE 370 VENTURE, WHICH WAS NAMED THE 2012 “BOAT OF THE YEAR” BY BOATING MAGAZINE, IS LOADED WITH STANDARD FEATURES AND CREATURE COMFORTS. FEATURING A PATENT-PENDING DESIGN, THE VENTURE IS BUILT AROUND HIDDEN MERCURY MARINE VERADO 4-STROKE OUTBOARDS, ALLOWING EXPANSION OF THE COCKPIT AND CABIN AREAS.

On deck, an L-shaped lounge sits opposite the helm, which has a double-wide seat for the captain and a companion. A full complement of SmartCraft diagnostic instruments provide real-time assessment of engine and performance data. Farther aft, a U-shaped bench wraps around a solid-teak table that adjusts to become a sun pad with the standard filler cushion. To starboard, more bench seating is adjacent to the outdoor galley with a stainless-steel sink and faucet, refrigerator, induction stove, storage and electric barbecue grill.

At the transom, the twin 300-hp Verados are housed beneath sun pads to either side of the center walkthrough. Engine access is gained by lifting the sun pads.

Taking advantage of the small footprint of the outboards, Sea Ray was able to push the engine room bulkhead as far aft as possible, creating the most stateroom space for a boat of its size. The aft master stateroom stretches beam-to-beam, with an angled berth of Visco elastic foam and storage beneath. The full-length horizontal hull windows allow a flood of ambient light, and the refined interior features bright, natural tones to enhance the airy feel. Additional appointments include a seat to port and a starboard settee. The boat sleeps 4 adults.

The forward dinette features oversized hull windows and a large wraparound settee with a folding table. The whole space converts to a V-berth with filler cushions. A storage cabinet and enclosed head are to starboard. The latter has simulated teak flooring, a VacuFlush head, sink and pull-out sprayer, medicine cabinet, vanity with storage and full-length mirror. Opposite, the interior galley comes with a solid-surface countertop, stainless-steel sink and cover, microwave, refrigerator, trash receptacle, and storage drawers and cabinets.
