Furuno FCV-600 and FCV-800 Sounders

Furuno’s 5.7” FCV-600 ($1,150) and 8.4” FCV-800 ($1500) can be paired with either a chirp or a dual-frequency transducer. The FCV-800 even features dual transducer ports that allow for the simultaneous use of chirp and continuous-wave channels. Soft-touch keys and a large rotary knob controller make both units easy to use.
Key features include Accu-Fish fish-size assessment and bottom-type ID, while sunlight and yellow pallets improve daytime visibility. RezBoost signal-processing technology can be employed to improve resolution and target separation when using conventional narrow-band transducers.
