HED Wait For It: New Pursuit OS 325 Announced

Those who know Pursuit Boats well understand that the company doesn’t get much wrong when it puts out a new model. Everywhere we turn, or put your hand, or sit down, we find the feature that we were hoping would be there, whether it’s a finely machined stainless grab handle when we’re standing near the console, or an array of cupholders that, conveniently enough, matches the number of seats nearby. The company has the kind of forethought that makes every model feel finished and complete. So then what?

One word comes to mind: Evolution. That’s just what they’ve done with a proven winner in the lineup, the OS 325, an express-style outboard fishing boat. This is the smallest model in the OS lineup has many features of her larger sisters. A pair of 350-horsepower outboards drive this capable hull through conditions that would ordinarily have your crew crying, “No más,” but instead they’re comfortably ensconced behind Pursuit’s signature one-piece windshield and integrated hardtop.

The helm deck has an L-shaped lounge (with a slight curve at the forward end, is this an italics “L”?) served by a dining table. The elevated helm seat has a flip-up bolster and gives a commanding view of the cockpit for trolling or backing into the slip.

The cockpit has a settee facing aft to watch baits, and is otherwise an open space for anglers to embrace the action, and a folding flip-up transom bench with robust hardware—Pursuit knows guys can’t sit comfortably if they’re worried the bench is about to drop ’em on the deck! Cavernous in-deck boxes stow gear or the catch, and give ample access to the machinery space.

Belowdecks there’s room for a weekend aboard with a V-berth forward with hi-lo table and a crawl-in athwartships berth aft. A galley counter with sink and fridge and lockers for provisions is to port, opposite a wet head to starboard.

This kind of refresh has an effect on the market. Since the new one will be the 2025 model, one may find a brand-new 2024 available and priced to move as a certain buyer segment will wait for the new one. Either way, we all win—see you on the fishing grounds, in any conditions.
