Town of Edgartown (508) 627-4746: The harbormaster’s office manages moorings for transient vessels up to 65 feet. Reservations required. Launch service provided by Oldport Launch (VHF 68). Dockage may be available at the harbormaster’s North Wharf facility.
Harborside Inn (508) 627-4321: On the inner harbor, just beyond the Edgartown Yacht Club, this sprawling resort maintains a limited number of transient slips for vessels up to 135 feet.
Mad Max Marina (508) 627-7500: Overnight dockage for boats up to 150 feet.
Edgartown Yacht Club (508) 627-4361: Moorings, launch service, and use of facilities offered to yachtsmen from sister clubs belonging to U.S. Sailing.

Launch Ramp:
Sengekontacket Pond: At base of the small bridge off Beach Road.
Anchorages:
Cape Pogue Bay: Located in the outer harbor to the port side of red nun 8, alongside Chappaquiddick Beach. Service to and from town provided by the launch. Sandy bottom makes for easy anchoring. Curvature of the Chappy shoreline and bluff offer protection from prevailing southwest breezes. All vessels inquiring about anchorage in Cape Pogue Bay must contact the harbormaster’s office via VHF 74. Katama Bay is normally closed as an anchorage, although the harbormaster may open it during northerly wind conditions.
