Bosun’s Marine will kick off the 2026 boating season on Cape Cod next week with the Bosun’s Boat Expo, an afternoon gathering that provides boaters with expert insight, hands-on experiences, and a chance to celebrate the start of the season with other boaters.

The Expo will take place at Bosun’s Mashpee location on Friday, April 17 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The open-house-style event lets attendees step aboard a range of boats for guided walkthroughs with the Bosun’s team, helping both new buyers and seasoned boaters compare models and features up close. Those who already have their eye on a specific boat can schedule an on-water demo following the event.

Attendees will also get to connect with experts from leading marine brands, such as Garmin, Yamaha, and Sea Tow. Other brands and organizations at the expo include the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Cape Cod Marine Decking, Northern Coastline, New England Maritime, Kellogg, and many more.

Boater education will be a key part of the afternoon, with captain-led tutorials covering practical boating skills. Whether it’s brushing up on knot tying or picking up new fishing techniques, the sessions are designed to be approachable and useful for boaters of all experience levels.

For those considering a purchase or upgrade, Bosun’s in-house financing team will be available to walk through options and answer questions.

While the Expo is free to attend and open to all, organizers recommend reserving demo times in advance for those interested in getting out on the water.
